§     2004 - Present           Walsworth Publishing Inc.           Marceline, MO

§        Primary duties consist of analysis, designing, coding, testing, implementing, and maintaining both batch and interactive programs. Extensively use RPG3, RPG4, QUERY, and CLP. I have been on the Help Desk since my arrival at Walsworth. Providing front line support for the user community. I have modified and written shipping, production, and scheduling programs since I have been here.

Programmer / Analysts 1

§        Primary duties consisted of analysis, designing, coding, testing, implementing, and maintaining both batch and interactive programs. Extensively use RPG3, RPG4, SQL, QUERY, and CLP. About fifty percent of the programs I write had sub files in them. Other responsibilities also consisted of maintaining file integrity. Overseeing both monthly and quarterly inventories from a systems standpoint. Designed reports for upper management to use as tools to run the business. Designed programs that track our inventory from the time it arrives until the time we ship it to our customers. Designed programs that ship and receive goods. Designed cost reporting. Designed programs that track machine down time. Designed programs that assist our users in the planning of product flow through our plants. Also designed menu’s for our users and maintain security to who has access to our programs. I also assisted in training users on how to use the system. This included software and hardware. I was part of a programming team. I was remotely located in Opelika to support our Opelika facility. In 1999 I was part of a team that converted our Opelika plant from a mainframe to an AS400. In 2001 I was part of a team that converted a plant we bought from their old AS400 to our corporate system. In 2002 I was part of a team that installed the whole computer system (Both hardware and software). In all three installations there was no lost data and the plant floor never shut down. In all three installations I had to train the users, collect and convert data, write programs, and have major interaction with both upper management and plant floor associates while still supporting the rest of the system in all the other plants. I was in an on-call rotation with the others in the group.  I attended a Visual-RPG class in San Antonio, TX in 2003.

Programmer Trainee

§       Worked in a group that designed, coded, tested, implemented, and maintained both batch and interactive programs that included physical logical, and subfiles. Provided support for all our manufacturing facilities. Also assisted in various cost accounting reports and month end inventory reports.

Chemical Sprayer

§     Responsibilities include the use of Pesticides and Herbicides and the maintaining of tractor and spraying equipment. Also responsible for the loading of our inventory on to trucks by using various equipment. Responsible for keeping inventory of chemicals in stock and tracking the chemicals used. Also dealt with disposing of HAZ-MAT in accordance with the EPA.

 

1992 - 1996       United States Navy        Lemoore, CA

Aviation Ordnance

§     Responsible for the maintaining and installation of all weapon systems on the F/A 18 aircraft. Duties included being a Team Leader of a four to five person weapons loading team. Duties also included being a member of the Carrier Air Group weapons arming and de-arming teams. Also responsible for maintaining the inventory of our tools, explosives, and floatation gear.
